Celebration of Life for Ms. Agnes Marie Hurt will be held on Friday August 3, 2012 at Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church. Services will begin at 1:00p.m. With the interment following at Wood Place Cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at 12:00 noon until the service hour. Ms. Hurt was a faithful and devoted member of Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church for many years. On Sunday July 29, 2012 Agnes departed this life in the quietness of her home to a home more beautiful than we have ever known. She leaves to cherish her memories one son Ronald D. (Teresa) Hurt of Milledgeville, grandchildren; Shermeriel Hurt, Obinna (Taranika)Hurt, great grandchildren; Londyn Downing, Isaih Hurt, and a devoted god- son Doll (Keila)Hurt. Four sisters; Mary Samuels, Bernice (John) Benefield of Detroit, Michigan, Ola Bell (Bobby) Hightower, and Geneva (Richard) Hightower of Milledgeville. Five brothers; James (Lula) Hurt, Willmond (Ruby) Hurt, Harrison (Willie Mae) Hurt of Milledgeville, Richard Hurt, Sr. of Eatonton, Rudolph Hurt of Atlanta, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
