Celebration of Life for Mrs. Avis Yvonne King of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Services will begin 11:00a.m. at Olivet Baptist Church 740 East Martin Luther King Boulevard Chattanooga, Tennessee. The interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. A wake service was held on Friday, June 6,2014 from six to eight p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home. Mrs. King entered into rest on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence. She leaves a devoted and caring husband: Mr. Roy Lee King, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia, three daughters: Adrienne Lea King, Crystal Renee King, and Royelle Michelle King all of Milledgeville, Georgia, one sister: Sharon Montinie (Nathaniel) Whitaker, one brother: Thaddeus Eugene Reid, Jr.,sister in law Sylvia Reid, devoted family friend Jimmie Lee Thurmond and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
