Graveside Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Barbara Ann Lawrence-Morris age 70 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Heritage Memorial Park  371 Log Cabin Road NE, Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Clarence Rayford will officiate. Barbara was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She moved back to Milledgeville, Georgia from Detroit, Michigan in 1979. Barbara was a former employee at Central State Hospital as a Clerk and retired after 18 years of devoted service. She was united in marriage to Richard Morris in 2006.

Barbara was a faithful member of Springhill Baptist Church and served as a missionary, and a member of The Eastern Star Chapter 486.

Barbara leaves an abundance of love for her family and cherished memories with her husband; Richard Morris, children; Daphne Patterson of Lithonia, Georgia, Andre (Teresa) Wise of Suwanee, Georgia and Vincent (Janice) Wise of Milledgeville, Georgia, siblings; Calvin (Effie) Lawrence, Kenneth Lawrence, Michael (Joyce) Lawrence of Milledgeville, Georgia and Ricky (Kim) Lawrence of Haddock, Georgia, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Dixon, Alma Watkins, and Mary Lawrence, brother-in-law; Emanuel Watkins, supportive cousins; Gladys Lawrence and Lula Mae Larkin, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Mollie-Veal-Lawrence, Sr., two brothers; Clyde Lawrence, Jr. and Curtis (Velma) Moore.
