Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Benny James Patterson age 64 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home. Services will commence at 1:00 pm with the interment following at Heritage Memorial Park. The cortege will assemble at 149 Youngblood Road Milledgeville, Georgia.

Benny traded time for eternity on Monday, December 30, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Elaine Ross and Wendy Ross. Benny was a devout christian, teaching and  studying the gospels of the Lord. He also loved sports as a pastime especially football and basketball.

Mourning his passing, yet cherishing the precious memories, his devoted wife of 33 years, Annie Kate Patterson, his loving mother, Mary Thelma Patterson, three daughters, Sherry Bond of Orlando, Florida, Wylene (Alan) Davis and Alene Gasaway both of Dublin, Georgia, sisters, Carolyn Clowers, Jeanette Patterson, Shirley (Christopher) Hurt, Mary Ross and Frances Ross, brothers, Timothy (Joyce) Ross, Willie James Ross, Sanford (Kim) Ross, David (Carol) Ross, Anthony (Marie) Ross,Frank (Lisa) Ross, Wayne (Beverly)Ross, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
