Celebration of Life for Mrs. Bessie Lee Senegal - Byrd of Brentwood, Tennessee formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 174 Church Street Grand Coteau, Louisiana. Service time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. with viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. and a rosary. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. It was on Sunday, March 19, 2017 that Bessie peacefully entered into rest and traded time for eternity. The love she shared with her family and those precious memories shall forever linger in the hearts of her family, daughter, Letitia (Elgin) Dejean of Indianapolis, Indiana, sons, Dr. Daryl Byrd of Brentwood, Tennessee, Kerwin (Kim) Byrd of New Orleans, Louisiana, Russell (Carla) Byrd, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana, Laniere (Dr. Gina) Byrd of Point Clear, Alabama, sisters, Sister Letitia Senegal, Ruby (Dudley) Babineaux, and Marie (Eugene) Casey, brother, Joseph (Emma) Senegal, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
