Celebration of Life for Mrs. Carolyn S. Hodges will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Gum Hill Baptist Church Highway 24 East Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will convene at 11:00am. Remains will be placed in state at 10:00am at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Hodges entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her residence. She leaves to mourn her passing yet cherishing her memory is her devoted husband; Willie Hodges, Sr. Children; Valerie Harper (Eric) ,Willie Hodges, Jr. both of Milledgeville. One sister Bertha Mae Simmons,brother Terry Simmons( Ethel Mae) both of Milledgeville. Six grandchildren, one great grandchild, devoted friend Sammie Morris, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
