Celebration of Life for Minister Cary Muata Nkosi, age 62 of Fairburn, Georgia formerly of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 commencing at 2:30 p.m. at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home, 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Tony E. Fraley will officiate. The interment will follow at Sons of Wisdom & Daughters of Light Society Cemetery at County Line Baptist Church. Minister Cary received his wings for eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

He spent much of his time ministering to others and his daily devotionals with the Lord. Minister Cary was a published author, he also enjoyed reading and the sport of basketball and boxing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three daughters, Tiffany (Dyron) Jolly of Little Elm, Texas, Mia Nkosi of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephanie (Allen) Logan of Washington, D.C., one son, Diarra Nkosi of Lithonia, Georgia, one sister, Sonja Jackson of Seattle, Washington, two brothers, Robert Butts and Juan Lewis of Milledgeville, Georgia, his devoted companion, Laura Perez, one aunt, Annie Belle Milner, two grandchildren and a loving host of other family and friends.

Minister Cary was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Mary Lewis.
