Memorial Service for Mrs. Catherine Laverne Kendrick, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Flagg Chapel Baptist Church, 400 W. Franklin Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Dr. Omer Reid will officiate. Catherine entered into rest on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Howell Family Cemetery, Pittman Town Road, Suffolk, Virginia.

Catherine was a devoted and faithful member of Flagg Chapel Baptist Church over 20 plus years. She served as a member of the food committee, a member of the senior choir, and a member of the Hancock-Baldwin Community Choir. Catherine loved traveling, cooking for her family and friends, and singing. She moved to Milledgeville some 40 plus years ago from Suffolk, VA.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Monica Kendrick of Milledgeville, Georgia; three sisters, Gladys Bellamy, Tammy Bellamy of Suffolk, VA, and Lisa Bellamy of Portsmouth, VA; two brothers, William (Nelda) Bellamy and Timothy (Mary) Bellamy of Franklin, VA; sister in law, Carolyn Bellamy of Gatesville, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends.
