Funeral Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. Charles Edward Francis, Sr. of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at ElBethel Baptist Church 251  N Irwin Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Service time will begin at 12:30 pm with the interment following at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Remains will lie in state at 11:00 am at the church. Charles traded this life for eternal rest on Thursday, January 10, 2019. He was a member of The American Legion Post 523. He served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of twenty four years, Mrs. Ernestine A. Francis, children, Tanya Ford and Shenika Francis of Milledgeville, Georgia, sons, Terence Francis, Michael (Nincoe) Francis, and Charles Francis II all of Milledgeville, Georgia, step children, Charlotte Hurt, Kirk Allen, Tommy Allen Corey Myrick and Debra Williams, sisters, Patricia Allen, Vivian Baymon, and Denise (Levi) Veal, aunts, Marion Carter, and Linda Franklin, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews,  other family and friends.
