Memorial Service for Ms. Corliss Laverne Pickron 71 of Eatonton, Georgia will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Donald B. Hill will officiate. Corliss entered into rest on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

She was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on November 30, 1949 to the loving parents of Keptler and Clara Miller. Corliss received her primary education in Detroit Public Schools. While visiting the family farm in Georgia, she fell in love with the south and remained with her paternal grandmother for another year and graduated from Jones County High School in Gray, Georgia.

Corliss leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Clara Miller, two sisters, Brenda McElrath of Southfield, Michigan and Rosalyn Jackson of Farmington Hills, Michigan; nieces and nephews; Jenelle Kimberly, Alisa Claire, Kevin Thomas, Angela Susan and Dwight Keptler, Jr. (wife: LaToya), grand nieces and nephews, Taylor, Tyra, Asia, Justin, Ricky, AJ and Zion, also her many friends, acquaintances, church family, her special godmother and close friend Vivian for their dedication and support.
