Celebration Of Life for Deacon Marion Boyer 84 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery 685 Ga-24 Milledgeville, Georgia. Deacon Boyer was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. He was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the deacon board.

Deacon Boyer was preceded in death by his step mother Rosa Butts Boyer and brother Curtis Boyer.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of sixty three years; Mrs.Maud Erma Jean Boyer, daughters; Eva Sherman, Malinda (Tyrone) White, Josephine (Roy) Grissom all of Milledgeville, Georgia, Sheila (Earl) Butts of Gray, Georgia, sons; James Boyer of Milledgeville, Georgia, Marion Boyer, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Phillip (Linda) Boyer of Macon, Georgia, siblings; Lorene Ray, Rosetta Hopkins, Minnie (Jeff) Hill of Milledgeville, Georgia, Eva Mae Mason of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Michael (Grace) Edwards of Sparta, Georgia, devoted cousin; Pendola West, twenty two grandchildren, eighteen  great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
