Celebration of Life for Deacon John W. Reeves Sr. of 214 N. Pickens Street Milledgeville will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Flagg Chapel Baptist church. Remains will be in state at 10:00 A.M.until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Deacon Reeves made his peaceful transition to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2011. He was a faithful and devoted member of Flagg Chapel until his health declined serving on the Deacon Board and as a missionary. Deacon Reeves leaves three sons to cherish his memory; John W. (Mamie L.) Reeves Jr., Julius F. (Gwendolyn) Reeves both of Milledgeville and Billy E. (Valarie) Reeves of Rincon, Georgia,five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
