Celebration of Life for Mrs. Debra Cobb-Scott, 66, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 commencing at 11:00 am at Hunts Chapel AME Church, 900 Hunts Chapel Road, Sparta, Georgia. Reverend Robert Knight will officiate. The interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Debra entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Atrium Health- Baldwin. She was a former member of Springhill CME Church where she was a devoted member. Upon her marriage to Mr. Raymond Scott, Debra switched her membership to Hunts Chapel AME Church where the family still worship today.

She was a dedicated employee with the Wilkinson County Board of Education and retired after 35 years of service as an Administrative Secretary. Debra was also a member of the Georgia Association of Educators.

She leaves unforgettable memories with her husband of twenty one years, Mr. Raymond Scott, her loving mother, Mrs. Frances Jenkins-Cobb, five sisters, Sandra Cobb, Karen (Kevin) Jones of Gordon, Georgia; Tawanda (Alton) Basley of Jeffersonville, Georgia; Shelia Cobb of Gordon, Georgia and Shawnkesha Cobb of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, Kelvin Cobb and Harold Cobb of Gordon, Georgia; devoted friends, Lucy B. Rozier, Linda Bivins, and Susan Brown, nephews, Jarez Hughes, Altaevist Basley, Keveion Jones and a loving host of other family and friends.
