Celebration of Life for Mr. Donald Lee Hurt, Sr. of Detroit, Michigan will be held on Sunday July 29, 2012. Service time is scheduled for 5:00p.m. At The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Una Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Hurt entered into rest on Monday July 23, 2012. He is survived by his parents Thelma Walker Livingston and Leo Hurt, Sr. of Milledgeville, his children; Kenneth, Donald Jr., Anthony, Christopher (Cynthia), and Penny Saunders (Samuel) of Detroit, Michigan. Ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers; David Carl Hurt (Debra), Berle Hurt, Stan Hurt, Sparrow Hurt (Carolyn) and Foster Hurt. Three sisters; Quay Fuller(Robert), Donna Hurt, Udy Pitts (Shawn) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. His memory will be remembered by a devoted daughter-in-law, Brenda Hurt, a devoted sister-in-law, Mary Hurt and dear friends Henry Hicks, and neighbor Eddie all of Michigan.
