Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Doris W. Butts of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church 640 Meriwether Road Milledgeville. Remains will be in state 11:00a.m.at the church. Services will begin 12:00 noon with the interment following on Sunday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Omaha, Georgia. Doris was a dedicated employee of Central State Hospital where she retired. On Sunday, August 6, 2017 Doris entered into rest at Eastview Nursing Center in Atlanta. She leaves a legacy of love that will forever linger in the hearts of her family, husband, Mr. Tommie L. Butts, mother, Mrs. Savannah Woodard of Buena Vista, Georgia, daughter, Kasandra M. Butts, sons, Patrick L. Butts and  Dexter L. Butts of Milledgeville, sisters, Arlinda (Barry) Watson, Sharon (Samuel) Johnson, and Darlene (Robert) Lee, brothers, George (Friendly) Woodard, John (Denise) Woodard, Willie (Debbie) Woodard, Marion (Valerie) Woodard, nine grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
