The life of Dorothy W. Burnett, aged 80, of Milledgeville, Georgia, will be celebrated with services on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 720 North Clark Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Robert Chapman will officiate, and interment will follow at Austin Memorial Cemetery, 557 Georgia Highway 22, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Burnett passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Dorothy's loving memory is cherished by her daughter, Portia Mosley of Marietta, Georgia; her sons, William Burnett (Tonya), Derek Burnett, and Shawn Burnett (Brenda) all of Milledgeville, Georgia; her sisters, Virginia Curry of Macon, Georgia, Stella Robinson and Sharon Hall, both of Milledgeville, Georgia. She will be fondly remembered by her 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
