Funeral Services Celebrating The Life Of Mother Dorothy Christine Yarbrough-Hurt age 87 of Milledgeville, GA  will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at El Bethel Baptist Church, 244 N Irwin Street Milledgeville, Ga. Reverend Rechard Larkin will officiate with the interment following at Scenic Memorial Gardens.

Mother Hurt traded time for eternity on Monday, December 23, 2024 at her residence with her loving family at her side. She was a lifelong native of Milledgeville, GA and was a faithful and devoted member of El Bethel Baptist Church where she served as mother of the church. She was also a former choir member.

Mother Hurt leaves fond memories in the hearts of her two children, Catherine Hurt-Alexander and Alvin (Shirley) Hurt of Milledgeville, GA; one sister, Annell (Joseph) Parham of Milledgeville, GA; one brother, Robert Yarbrough of Denver, Colorado; god-daughter, Catherine Smith and a loving host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
