Funeral Services for Mr. Earvin Lamont Hykes age 51 of Atlanta, Georgia will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 2875 1st Avenue SW Atlanta, Georgia. Pastor Steven E. Reid will officiate. There will be an additional service at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Outreach Ministries 601 Highway 245 Alternate, Okolona, Mississippi. Elder Hudson A. Williams will officiate. The interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Okolona, Mississippi.  Earvin entered into rest on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Atlanta Medical Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Donnica Lee Hykes, parents, William (Naomi) Bailey, and Patricia Hykes, three daughters, Tarnaesheia ( Brad) Buchanan of Okolona, Mississippi, Stanniesha Lee of Jonesboro, Georgia, and Deanna (Julius) Hurst of Decatur, Georgia, one son, Caleb Hykes of Atlanta, Georgia, siblings, Regina McCray, Ramona Hykes, Lonette (Robert) Taylor, Catrina (Terry) Tallie, Shiekeal French, Pranati Bailey, Takiana Bailey, Mary Brown, Steven (Shereese) White, Derrick Swing, William (Stacey) Bailey, Jr., Nathan Bailey, Alex Bailey and Richard Abercrombie, 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
