Celebration of Life for Mr. Edd Marvin Culver, 68, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, commencing at 2:00 p.m. at the Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home, 950 North Clark Street, Milledgeville, Georgia.  Reverend Dr. Salathiel Coleman will officiate. The interment will be private.

Mr. Culver entered into rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Edd was born July 5, 1956, in Sparta, GA. to the parentage of the late Lynd Champion and Evelina Culver.

Edd attended Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, GA. Edd worked at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, GA until he was no longer able to work. He was known to all as a very kind and friendly person. Edd, enjoyed life and spending time with his family. Edd was a very private person and oftentimes very reserved.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Wash Culver and Charles Hill; and one sister, Dorothy Jones.

Edd leaves to cherish his loving memory; one son, Edd Marvin Culver, Jr. of Macon, GA; three stepdaughters; Constina A. Porter of Macon, GA, Yolanda N. Curry of Stockbridge, GA, Tajuansar E. Curry of Doraville, GA; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters: Evelyn Glenn of Atlanta, GA, Mary Alice Hill and Peggy Culver both of Milledgeville, GA; and one little Big brother John Culver of Stone Mountain, GA; and a very devoted friend, Mrs. Mary Lee Curry of Macon, GA.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins' other relatives and dear friends.
