Memorial Service for Ms. Edith Thomas will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will begin 1:30 p.m. with the interment being private. Ms. Thomas entered into rest on Thursday, August 7,2014.Left to cherish her memory is her devoted niece Ms. Gloria Ford- Blair of Milledgeville,Georgia devoted great nieces, April Harrison of Eatonton,Georgia and Linda Ford of Milledgeville,Georgia, sister in law Carrie Pearl Davis of Jonesboro, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ms. Thomas is preceded in death by her parents Emmitt and Mariah Thomas,two sons, Willie and Ronnie Thomas,one sister Bertha Thomas Banks, five brothers,Emmitt Thomas, Jr.,Josh Carswell,Oscar Thomas, James Thomas, and George Thomas.
