Celebration of Life Services for Ms. Edna Mae Dougherty, 94, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Baptist Church, 994 Sparta Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia.  Reverend Gregory Ellison will officiate with the interment following at St. Galilee Church Cemetery, 7223 GA-15, Sparta, Georgia 31087.

Ms. Dougherty entered eternal rest on Friday November 21, 2025.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her grandchildren: Ariel Lopez, Kenneth Lindsey Jr., Tiara Dugar (Demetrius), Brittney Lindsey Gray (Osiris). Great-grandchildren: Daniel Lopez, Jose "Bubba" Lopez, Kaylee Lindsey, Delilah Gray, Messiah Lindsey, Camille Lindsey, Raine Dugar, and Zachery Gray. Great godson: George Phella Williams.  Nieces and nephews: Peaches, Blanche, Brenda, Shirley, Lady, Edna Forney, Shirley Flagg, Wilson Andrews, Ronnie Andrews, Patricia Andrews.  Best friend: Irene Fleming.  A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other devoted friends also mourn her passing.
