Remains will be placed in state at 1:30 p.m. with the interment being private. Big E. was called home from labor to reward on Monday, October 12, 2015. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Bernetta Thomas Minter, daughters, Claudia Minter, Adrienne Minter, Denisha (Chris) Anthony, Latosha Thomas, Alexis Minter, Myneisha Poucney, Myesha Austin, Nadia Dearing, Monae Poucney, and Toria Webb, sons, RonTavius Reaves, Emmanuel Lee, and Emmanuel Minter, Jr. , four sisters, Sherrie White, Vickie (Tyrone) Perry, Connie Minter and Iris Minter, four brothers, John Minter, Thomas Minter, Will Minter, Mike Lucas, twenty one grandchildren, step mother Anna Minter, mother in law Paul (Addie Bell) Green, father in law Obie (Sherry) Thomas, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, other family and friends.
