Homegoing Services for our Beloved Emmitt Green, Jr. of 179 North Chandler Circle Milledgeville will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012.Service time is scheduled for 11:00a.m. at Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church 136 Wolverine Street S.E. Milledgeville. Interment will follow at Brown Grove C.M.E. Church Cemetery. Emmitt was set free to rest in peace by God on Monday, March 26, 2012. Emmitt was a lover of music and enjoyed playing the saxophone with The Mighty Chevelles Band. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his daughter Shanda Green, sons; Al - Lateef Green, and Emmitt Green III all of Milledgeville. One sister; Dorothy Miller of Milledgeville. Sister- in- law Cynthia Reeves of Milledgeville. Three grand children and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Evelyn Reeves Green and parents Emmitt & Lorene Green.
