Graveside Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. Eugene A. Cheathem 67 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery 657 Old Monticello Road Milledgeville, Georgia. Pastor Grover Watson will officiate. Eugene was called home to eternal life on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was a former employee of Central State Hospital as an Activity Therapist and retired after thirty four years of dedicated service.

Eugene was united into holy matrimony on September 8, 1985 to Deborah Ingram. He was preceded in death by his parents; Anderson and Inell Dennis-Cheathem, one daughter; Jameela Cheathem, one sister; Gloria Ann Cheathem and one brother; Larry Cheathem. Eugene was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sports as a favorite pastime. Michael Jordan was his favorite athlete.

His memory lives on and forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife of thirty six years; Deborah Ingram-Cheathem, two sons; Thewanis Kahil (Octavia) Cheathem of Augusta, Georgia and Shernandize Jerod (Jamie) Cheathem of Conyers, Georgia, one sister; Peggy Willis of Atlanta, Georgia, seven grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
