Celebration of Life for Mrs. Eva Pearl Mitchell Moore of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 1:00 p.m. at Freedom Church 500 Underwood Road Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at Mitchell Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.Remains will be placed in state at 12:00 noon. Mrs. Moore entered into rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 and made her sacred journey home to be with the Lord.She was a faithful member of Torrance Chapel Baptist Church for many years until her health declined and also a member of Sons of Wisdom and Daughters of Light Society at County Line Baptist Church.She leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by her family of four daughters; Mae Bell Harris, Catherine Wright, Aretha Simmons,and Josephine Simmons all of Milledgeville,three sons;Willie James Moore, Sr.of Milledgeville,Lucious (Gail) Moore, Sr. of Conyers, Georgia, and Leroy Moore of Camden, New Jersey, devoted friend Darlene Washington, sixty five grandchildren, one hundred seventy four great grandchildren, one hundred thirty three great - great grandchildren four great- great- great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
