It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Evan C. Brown, 83 of Estill, South Carolina.  Mr. Brown entered into rest at his residence in South Carolina on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Celebration of Life for Mr. Brown will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Pasture Baptist Church, 150 N. Warren Street, Milledgeville, GA. His remains will lie in state beginning at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will assemble at 112 Bonner Drive SW, Milledgeville, GA at 10:30 a. m.  Pastor Lee Wornum will officiate.  The interment will be held at Bone Cemetery.

His memories will be cherished by his daughters: Barbara Jean Brown Lewis, Denise E. Brown-Dillard,  Robin S. Starks, Mary Y. Brown, Marcy McClary (Joseph McClary),  Donna White (Ricky White, Sr.) his sons:  Evan C. Brown, Jr., Christopher Evan McLeod, Clyde Heath (Lynne Heath), Garry Bowens (Moisha Sorey Bowens), Jimmy Bowens; 35 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
