Home going service for Evonne Harper Thomas of 249 Merry Drive NW., Milledgeville, will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 @ 12:00 noon at St. Paul Baptist Church located at 485 Meriwether Rd. NW in Milledgeville with interment at the church cemetery. Ms. Thomas made her peaceful transition to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church having served as a former member of the usher board and the hospitality ministry. Evonne will be forever cherished by her loving family: Daughter Shydregal Harper. Sons: Kirk Patrick (LaTanger) Mosley, Donta Harper, Oscar (Yolanda) Thomas all residing in Milledgeville. One sister, Belinda Hawkins of Milledgeville, two brothers: Ricky (Mary Ann) Harper of Irwington, GA, Joseph (Diane) Harper of Millledgeville. Nine grandchildren, one special grandchild, special friend, Lachelle Mason, devoted niece, Lisa Weeks, former spouse, Oscar Thomas, Jr. and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
