Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Fannie Mae Walker - Evans formerly of Yatesville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 commencing at 1:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church 640 Meriwether Road Milledgeville, Georgia. Remains will lie in state at 12:00 noon at the church. The interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Park.

Fannie was called home to eternal rest on Friday, May 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was a former member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Yatesville, Georgia. After moving to Milledgeville, Georgia in 1992 she joined Elbethel Baptist Church serving on the Mother's Board and a choir member.

She leaves to cherish her memory yet mourning her departure, daughters, Vanessa Evans Walker and son in law, W. Edward Walker, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia, spiritual daughters, Essie Lowder and Deborah Milner, special cousins and brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Bentley, Lynn (Sallie Ann) Bentley of Jacksonville, Florida, uncle, Curtis Bentley of Chicago, Illinois, grandson, Kyle Walker, grand daughters, Brenda Harris, Melinda Byrd of Thomaston, Georgia, devoted nieces, nephews, and caregivers, Mary and Thomas Powers, Kechia Hardeman, Alfred and Debra McCrary all of Atlanta and a host of other family and friends.
