Funeral Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. George Edward Norwood of Augusta, Georgia formerly of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church 204 Harrisburg Road SW Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will commence at 1:00 pm with the interment following at Una Memorial Cemetery. Remains will lie in state at 12:00 noon until the service hour.

George moved to Augusta in 1999 and worked in the construction field. He was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

He leaves to cherish his memory his companion, Karen Glenn, his loving mother, Mrs. Willor Dean Norwood, siblings, Augustine Jackson, Nancy M. Jones, Joyce Norwood, Sandra R.(Sedric) Hill and Kelvin (LaKeshia) Norwood all of Milledgeville, Georgia, one aunt, Eva Jackson, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
