Homegoing Services for Mrs. Georgia Mae Walls of Sparta, Georgia will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Chapel A.M.E.  Church 3034 Carrs Station Road Sparta, Georgia. Remains will be in state at 1:00 p.m. at the church. The interment will follow at Walls Cemetery. Mrs. Walls was a devoted and faithful member of Jones Chapel A.M.E. Church for over sixty plus years. She was a former member of Sandy Run A.M.E. Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She leaves fond memories in the hearts of her children, Ola Mae Lewis, Ruth (Ellis) Winkfield, Dianne (Melvin) Walker, Kathy (Jerome) Harper, sons, G. Bo (Johnnie Mae) Walls, Rufus Walls, Sr., Odell Walls, Leon Walls all of Sparta, Georgia and  Jefferey Walls of Milledgeville, Georgia, one sister Essie Warren of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, thirty three grandchildren, fifty eight great grandchildren, and a host of great - great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
