Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Gertrude Bridges Taylor will be held privately  for immediate family members only on Friday, October 21, 2016 11:00 a.m. at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2617 Vinson Highway Milledgeville, Georgia. Gertrude was a faithful lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church.  She served her country in the United States Army. On Sunday, October 16, 2016 Gertrude was called home to eternal rest. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memory, her devoted husband of twenty seven years, Robert Lee Taylor, one daughter Dr. Ebony Thomas  (Yuri) Lee of Stockbridge, Georgia, one sister, Bernice Easterling of Milledgeville, Georgia , two brothers, Curtis Bridges of Milledgeville, Georgia and Arthur Bridges of Brooklyn, New York, aunts, Mary Louise Collins, Ethel Lee Collins, Mayzola Tuft, Fannie May Brown, uncles, Retired Pastor Henry (Juanita) Collins, Deacon Willie B. (Gerry) Collins, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. There will be no repast after the services.
