Graveside Services for Mrs. Gloria Jean Lindsey 63 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 beginning at 11:00 am at Scenic Memorial Gardens, Ga-Highway 49 West at Allen Memorial Drive, Milledgeville, Georgia. Gloria made her sacred journey home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2020. She was a former educator with The Baldwin County Board Of Education and retired after thirty one years of devoted service. She was a member of The Georgia Association of Educators.

She faithfully attended church services at Second Macedonia Baptist Church.

Gloria leaves cherished memories with her husband of thirty nine years; Kenneth Lindsey, her loving mother; Edna Mae Dougherty, two daughters; Ariel Bianca Quistian Lopez of Milledgeville, Georgia, Brittney (Osiris) Gray of Fayetteville, Georgia, one son; Kenneth Lindsey, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia, her devoted friends; Donna Barnes, Sandra Stubbs, Lisa Horne, Audrey Brannon, Elijah and Barbara Crocker, three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father James Dougherty.
