Celebration of Life for Mr. Griffin Palmer, Sr. of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at Una Memorial Park. Griffin entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He leaves to cherish his memory , one daughter, Teresa (Antonio) James, one son, Griffin (Monico) Palmer, Jr. both of Milledgeville, Georgia, sisters, Elaine (Joe) Adams, Frankie Palmer, and Carrie Palmer, devoted companion, Sherleen Cook, devoted niece, Sharon Palmer Kelly, devoted nephews, Anthony Adams, Kenneth Palmer, Sr. , Michael Edwards and Willie Palmer, Jr. , sisters in law, Bertha Palmer, Mamie Palmer, Betty Palmer, Rose Marie Smith, Fannie Foston and Julia Adams, brother in law, Lawson Mondie, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Griffin was preceded in death by his wife, Henrie Mae Reid - Palmer, his parents, Frank & Mary Jane Palmer and some siblings.
