Celebration of Life for Mrs. Helen Simmons-Manson of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Mitchell Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 309 Union Hill Church Road Gordon, Georgia. Elder Rechard Larkin, Pastor, Reverend Leroy Allen will officiate. Helen entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Green Acres Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Manson.

Helen enjoyed sewing, decorating and cooking. She was very supportive to the Piney Grove Gospel Singers where her husband the late James Manson was the lead vocalist of the group.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Willie James Manson of Milledgeville, Georgia, three sisters, Roberta Havior Simmons, Wanda Williams, and Barbara (Clifford) Higdon, four grandchildren, Nicholas Manson, Elexis (William) Daniel, Willie Manson, Jr., Adonijah Curry and Kirsten Manson, four great grandchildren, Taylor Daniel, Trenton Daniel, Tyler Daniel and Cia' Lanna Curry also a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends survive her.
