Celebration of Life for Mrs. Henrietta Jones-Barnes, age 81 of Sparta, Georgia will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church 685 Ga-24 Milledgeville, Georgia. Service time is scheduled for 1:00 pm with Pastor Jackie Crockett officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Henrietta entered into rest on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at her residence.

Henrietta joined Friendship Baptist Church at an early age and remained an active member throughout her life. She was president of the senior choir and also a member of the Brown's Chapel A.M.E. Church choir. Henrietta was truly devoted to Christ, her church, and the community.

Her memory lives on with her two sons, Clifford (Terri) Barnes of Anacortes, Washington and Clarence Barnes of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Amanda Jones-Washington of Milledgeville, Georgia; two brothers, Eugene Jones and Dorsey Jones of Milledgeville, Georgia; one grandchild, Chasidy Burke of Covington, Georgia; one great grandchild, Carlin Burke and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
