Funeral Service Celebrating The Life of Mr. Horace Bouknight 88 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Service time is scheduled for 2:30 pm at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2617 Vinson Hwy Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Milton Rollins will officiate.

Horace was born in Aiken, South Carolina on April 3, 1933 to the parentage of Daniel and Ivory Williams- Bouknight who preceded him in death. He served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Horace retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty five years of dedicated service. He moved to Milledgeville, Georgia in 1999 from New York and was united into holy matrimony to Willie Lois Dixon.

He leaves to cherish his memory yet mourning his passing, his loving and devoted wife; Willie Lois Dixon- Bouknight, one daughter; Martha Harper of Zebulon, North Carolina, two sons; Derrick (Jenifer) Dixon of Sanford, Florida and Allen Avery of Atlanta, Georgia, six grandchildren and a loving host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
