He entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 6,2014 at The Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Charlotte Colbert Mudd of Snellville, Georgia, his devoted mother Mrs. Gladys Mudd of Lumberton, North Carolina, children; Rodney (Felecia) Mudd of Snellville, Ga, Jamie Mudd of Stockton, Ca, and Marcus Mudd of Snellville, Ga.Two sisters; Ruth Smith,Jo Ann Hubbard (Harold) both of Detroit, Mi,two brothers;Charles "Bo" Smith of Detroit, Mi,Allen Smith of Charlotte,North Carolina,sister-in- law Linda Colbert of Lilburn, Ga, five grandchildren, five great - grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
