Memorial Service for Ms. Janice Marie Porter-Hawkins age 60 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 am. Services will be held at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 North Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will be private. Evangelist Lisa Porter will officiate.

Janice was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at her residence. She was a devoted and faithful member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Janice moved to Milledgeville, Georgia from Riverview, Florida 15 years ago to care for her father, Eddie Lee Porter. She also worked in the healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee and Ethel Smith-Porter, one sister, Debbie Porter and her grandchild, Holland Knight III.

Janice leaves to cherish her precious memory her three children, Toshche Tubbs of Bartow, Florida, Travis Jerome Tubbs and Clarence Hawkins, Jr. both of Lakeland, Florida, two sisters, Valerie Porter of Athens, Georgia and Lisa Porter of Snellville, Georgia, one brother, Curtis (Wendy) Porter on Rincon, Georgia, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
