Celebration of Life Service for Mr. J. D. Morris, Sr. 93, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in the Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel located at 950 North Clark Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. Pastor Tommy Curry will officiate with interment following at the GA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. located at 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Morris entered into rest on Friday, November 14, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Adams Morris.

His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Joann (Michael) Tucker of Milledgeville, Georgia and his son, J.D. Morris, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia; his three grandchildren: Andre D. Morris, Marcus Morris, and JQuon D. Morris; and his one great grandchild, De'Andre D. Morris; devoted friends: Gail, Tarrence, Tarrencia Finney, and Mary Ann Deveraux; and a host of other family and friends.
