Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Joe Brown of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Rock Mill Baptist Church 2770 N Columbia Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Remains will lie in state at 10:00 am until the hour of service. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Joe was called home to rest on Monday, August 27, 2018 surrounded by family at his residence. He leaves his devoted wife of seventy seven years of marriage cherishing his memory, Mrs. Frankie Mae Evans - Brown, one daughter, Julia ( Leroy) Abrams, his devoted nieces, Ella (James) Milner and Patricia (Calvin) Waller, devoted grand daughter and caretaker, Lenita Abrams , other grandchildren, Rewa Horne, Monique Abrams, Sonya Abrams,  and host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
