Celebration Of Life for Mr. Joe H. Davis, Jr. age 61 of Decatur, Georgia formerly of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Second Macedonia Baptist Church 2914 Vinson Highway SE Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will begin at 11:00 am with the interment following at Westview Cemetery. Remains will lie in state at 10:00 am until the service hour.

Joe departed this life for eternal rest on Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was united in holy matrimony to Vivian Annette Flagg in 1993. Joe made Decatur, Georgia his home over thirty years ago. He worked a s caregiver for AA Med. He loved football and tennis and was a real Atlanta Falcon fan.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of twenty six years, Vivian Annette Flagg - Davis, his loving parents, Deacon Joe H. and Gladys Davis, Sr., father and mother in law, Deacon Rufus and Sandra Flagg, Sr., sisters - in - law, Angela (David) Solyan, Valarie R. Flagg, brother in - law, Rufus Flagg, Jr., siblings, JoAnn Parham - Moore, Clara Thomas, aunts, Martha (M.C.) Daniels, Mary Jackson, Hattie Mae Samuels, Ruby Davis and Catherine Davis, one uncle, Willie (Doris) Davis, devoted nephews, Ryan Thomas, Reverend Keith A. Easley, great nephew, Jerimiah Thomas , nieces, Relandria S. Flagg,Victoria R. Flagg, Courtney R. Anderson, great niece and nephew, Jade M. Hampton and Amory Sampson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joe loved his beloved German Shepard, Thor.
