Home going services for Mr. Johnnie Hollis Jr. of 139 Martindale Rd. Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 - 11:00 A.M. - Green Pasture Baptist Church 150 North Warren St. Milledgeville. Remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Wood Place Cemetery. Mr. Hollis entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was baptized as a youth at New Hope Baptist Church in Milledgeville.He enjoyed driving in the world of racing as a race car driver for Dorman Dodge - Chrysler - Jeep of Sandersville, Georgia. Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted parents Mrs. Elizabeth B. Hollis and Mr. Robert L. Smith of Milledgeville, one sister, Gail(Joe) Rozier of Milledgeville, two brothers; Carl S.(Sharon) Paul of Milledgeville, James M. Paul of Atlanta and a loving host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends. Johnnie was preceded in death by his father Mr. Johnnie Hollis Sr.
