Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Johnnie Simpson 79 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Chapel Of All Faiths-Pecan Grove 252 Swint Avenue Milledgeville, Georgia. Superintendent Steve Pearson will officiate. Johnnie was called home to eternal rest on Saturday. August 14, 2021 at Magnolia Hospice in Macon, Georgia.

He was a member of New Vision Church of God In Christ. Johnnie enjoyed fishing and playing golf as favorite pastimes.

He leaves cherished memories with his loving wife of 58 years; Mrs. Alice Holsey-Simpson, two daughters; Miriam (Willis) Hunt of Atlanta, Georgia and Tess Simpson of Macon, Georgia, three sons; Johnnie Bernard (Kimberly) Simpson of Milledgeville, Georgia, Burleigh (Bridgette) Simpson of Macon, Georgia and Shaddrick Dane (Christina) Simpson of Atlanta, Georgia, siblings; Bernice Taylor, Jeanette (Bobby) Canty, Vera Ann Williams, Carolyn Simpson, Devon Adams, Ralph(Bessie) Simpson, Clarence Simpson, Marion (Shirley) Simpson and Lee Arthur Simpson, Jr. all of Miledgeville, Georgia, his devoted granddaughter; Keondra Sanford, 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
