Celebration of Life for Mr. Joseph Cook of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Cooper Hill Baptist Church  487 SW Gordon Hwy. Milledgeville, Georgia. Remains will lie in state at 12:00 noon at the church until the service hour. The interment will follow at Scotts Chapel Cemetery.

Joe was called home to eternal rest on Sunday, May 19, 2019.He was a devoted and faithful member of Cooper Hill Baptist Church and a member of the choir. He was preceded in death by his wife Maggie Helen Cook and daughter, Bernice Cook Wright.

Left to cherish his memory includes one sister, Mattie Pearl Stephens of Philadelphia, Pa, brothers, Sammie Cook and Elijah Cook, devoted daughter, Jodie (Ricky) Wray of Indianapolis, devoted sister in law, Linda Conaway of Glenwood, Georgia, brothers in law Eddie Dean (Janice) Conaway and Harvey Lee Conaway, devoted cousins, Vickie D. Bell Jones, Dewanda Brisco , seven grandchildren, ten - great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the residence 103 Willis Street Gordon, Georgia from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday evening.
