Funeral Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. Joseph Dixon, age 75 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church, 640 Meriwether Road NW, Milledgeville, GA.  Reverend Elijah Barnes, Jr. will officiate. The interment will follow at the Scenic Memorial Gardens.  Joseph entered into rest on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at his residence.

Joseph was a faithful and devoted member of Springhill Baptist Church for 46 years plus.  Joseph volunteered his time and talent in various ministries at his church.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  In his spare time, he enjoyed playing solitaire, spending time with his horse, and his dog, Colby.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his devoted wife of 46 years, Ann Penland Dixon; his two daughters: Felecia (Troy) Spires of Milledgeville, Georgia and Sherri (Jarvis) Culver of Gray, Georgia; one son: Carlos (Robin) Dixon of Loganville, Georgia; ten sisters, Annie Julia Green, Juanita Brown, Louise Baker, Nettie Mae Harden, Lillie Mae (Andrew) Bonner, Willie Lois Bucknight, Grace (Jim) Wallace; Rosetter Williams, Shirley Worthen, Darlene (Terry) James, Denise (John) Woodard, and Agnes (Lorenzo) Strother; two brothers:  James Dixon and Herbert Dixon; six grandchildren:  Aniya Dixon, Tramad Daniels, Aireal Dixon, Landen Culver, Caleb Dixon, and Kayla Clemons; one great grandson: Gabriel Culver; a god-son Kedrick (Maima)Dixon; devoted cousin: Robert "Lil Robert" Dixon; devoted friend:  Lumpkin "Tu-Lip" Glenn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers:  Howard Dixon, John Richard Dixon, and Matthew Dixon.
