Celebration of Life for Ms. Juanita Cooper, age 81, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, commencing at 11:00 a.m. at Peoples Funeral Home in the Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel, 950 North Clark Street, Milledgeville, Georgia.   Pastor Burnest Glover will officiate.  The interment will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens, 2896 North Columbia Street, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Ms. Cooper entered into rest on Sunday, March 3, 2024.  She was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville.  She attended public schools in Baldwin County.  She was formerly employed at Central State Hospital and was a member of County Line Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Vickie (Jo Bryant) Huff of Mesa, Arizona, Cynthia Diane Cooper-Lundy of Milledgeville, Georgia; two sons: Charles Leslie (Brenda) Cooper of Milledgeville, Georgia and Marcus Dante Cooper of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Lillie Henderson of Atlanta, Georgia; and two brothers: Johnny (Marilyn) Hill of Atlanta, Georgia and Oscar Hill of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
