Celebration of Life for Ms. Julia Pearl Jordan of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Green Pasture Baptist Church 150 North Warren Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will begin 11:30 a.m. with the interment following at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Remains will be instate at 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Ms. Jordan made her sacred journey home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2014. She was a devoted and faithful member of Green Pasture Baptist Church for several years and served as a senior usher. Julia retired from Central State Hospital after thirty two years of dedicated service and was a substitute teacher with the Baldwin County School System. Her loving memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her children: one daughter, Paula Michelle Jordan, three sons, Dennis Jordan, Charles Jordan, and Preston (Nakeisha) Scott Jordan all of Milledgeville, Georgia; her devoted companion Alfred L. Trawick,six sisters, Doretha Owens, Mary Thomas, Emma Amy, Marilyn Maddox, Helen Raines and Linda Brown, two brothers, Julian Pleas ,James Brown, Jr.,one aunt Mary D. Robinson five grandchildren and a host of nieces,nephews other relatives and friends. Ms. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Julia Pleas Brown Sr.
