Obituary

Private Graveside Services will be held for Kevin Lee Carmouche, age 46, who suddenly transitioned from Earth to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

The interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.

Kevin also affectionately known as "Big Mouche," "Big Kev," or "Bra," was a native of Sunset, Louisiana and a resident of Atlanta, Georgia since 1996. He was a 1990 graduate of Sunset High School and attended Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kevin was an innovator and motivator and aspired everything that life had to offer. He was relentless in pursuing his goals and worked his way up from an insurance agent to ultimately founded his own insurance company, American Way Financial Group, L.L.C., where he was President and CEO. He was a hard - working, visionary, who utilized his creative skills to make the best out of any situation and anyone. Whether he knew you for five minutes or his whole life, he would treat all people that he met with respect. Kevin did his best to help people and make them laugh in any way possible.

Kevin loved being with family and friends. His favorite pastimes were going to a beach, lake, family reunion, crawfish boil, outdoor cookout, "taking a ride," Saints football games and attending ANY party. His enormous story - telling and infectious laugh, hugs, or sly - looking smile could brighten a room in an instant and change the mood. That's just the kind of person he was!
