Celebration of Life for Mrs. Laura P. Beckham - Parham of 116 Ellis St. S. W. Milledgeville Georgia will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 - 11:00 A.M. at Chapel of All Faiths 252 Swint Avenue Milledgeville. Final resting place will be at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. at the chapel. Mrs. Parham entered into rest on Tuesday, August 30 at her residence. Laura was a faithful and devoted member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church where she served on various ministries within the church. She was a member of The Sons of Wisdom and The Daughters of Light. Society members are asked to please wear your badges on the black side. Left to cherish her legacy of love includes one daughter Myra L. Parham, one son Marion L. Parham both of Milledgeville. One sister Ellen Barber, one brother Charlie Alfred (Frankie) Beckham both of Detroit, Michigan. Devoted cousin Annie Willis, devoted friends; Rosetta Stubbs, Bessie Lewis, Lacy Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
