Celebration of Life for Mrs. Leila Mae Garner of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Seventh - Day Adventist Church 509 North Liberty Street Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at Una Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at 12:00 noon. Mrs. Garner passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She will be forever loved and cherished by her family of two daughters;Barbara G. Ransom and Melissa Garner of Milledgeville,Georgia,one brother;Robert (Annie Ruth) Mabry of Atlanta, Georgia, sister in law Ellen Veal of Gordon, Georgia, devoted niece Teresa Grable of Gordon, Georgia, devoted friend Buddy Lawrence, Jr., five grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
